Craig Smith is an environmental scientist, registered

KEY PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Avenue North Mixed-Use Redevelopment, Wilmington, DE
Delineated wetlands and identified forest cover types plus specimen trees for
redevelopment of existing commercial facility; Met on site with State and
Federal agents and engineers to determine the optimal solution and proper
permit processes to repair and restore a severely-eroded outfall and drainage
channel located within a woodland area.
Chestnut Run Plaza Wetland Investigation, Wilmington, DE
Environmental Scientist, responsible for updating an existing natural resources
plan including wetlands, Waters of U.S., and forest.
DEARNG RRTS Warehouse Demolition and CSMS Reconstruction, New Castle, DE
Environmental Scientist, responsible for performing a wetland delineation, forest stand delineation, and assisting with a Phase
1 Bog Turtle Investigation for the entire 200+ acre Delaware Army National Guard (DEARNG) River Road Training Site (RRTS)
and shooting range situated between River Road and the Delaware River as part of the planned demolition and reconstruction
projects.
Fairview Campus (PK-12), Large-Scape Campus Development, Townsend, New Castle County, DE
Environmental Scientist. Wetland delineation and preparation of report to the USACE and Del. DNREC Wetlands Branch,
forest stand delineation (FSD), and Phase I and Phase II bog turtle surveys. The 272-acre property was originally a large farm
surrounded by mature and young forest lands on a large peninsula bordered by tidal and non-tidal wetlands and open water.
Delaware Coastal Airport Off-Site Wetland Mitigation, Georgetown, Sussex County, DE
Performed Off-Site wetland mitigation project in Selbyville, DE for Delaware Coastal Airport expansion violation. – Four
created wetlands totaling 9.6-acre on 76-acre off-site parcel. Assisted with construction oversight and with planting.
