Location: Harford County, Maryland
Design Statement: Bernardon provided architectural
design services and coordination of engineering
disciplines for a 300,944 SF building, the first of two
crossdock distribution buildings designed for the site.
The entrances were designed to respond to existing
industrial buildings on the site that are historically
significant, having been designed by a student of Walter
Gropius of the Bauhaus movement. The building has a
steel joist and wide flange beam roof structure supported Site-cast concrete panels were chosen for their ease
by load bearing, tilt-up concrete, and exterior wall of construction, capacity to bear the load of the roof
