Office Building

STANTON, DELAWARE

The Apex Medical Office Building is a 60,000 square foot Medical Office Building.
The building was designed for multiple practice suites housing private physician
groups. Once leased, practices occupying as little as 1,000 square feet to as much
as 15,000 square feet were fit out. The spaces were designed to support routine
physical examinations, checkups, lab work and minor outpatient procedures.
Flexibility was essential to the financial success of the Apex Building and the
design reflected the need for flexibility.

DEDC was selected as the mechanical and electrical engineer for the shell and
core design of the fit out. Our effort included developing several mechanical and
electrical system options and reviewing those options with the building ownership
team. Once the MEP approach was selected, DEDC completed shell and core
engineering and design. We also participated in the fit out of the building interior
spaces. The building MEP systems were designed with flexibility in mind. DEDC
provided assistance during construction and start up. We have also provided
design for new tenants and tenant expansion in the building.
