Teachers Speak
My journey in GHV started seven years ago when I joined as a Grade 1 teacher. The three magical words of the
school - aim, inspire, and achieve, made an impact on me. I knew I had to aim at a goal, inspire young minds and do a lot
of hard work in order to achieve this. I learnt many things but the most important thing of all was co-operation and
co-ordination. Today, when I look back, I cherish the memorable moments of events like the thought stimulating
Debate Competition, the grand Annual Day, and fabulous Grandparents' Day'. Each day is a learning experience and
till today I am learning to be the best in whatever I do.

Being associated with GHV since March 2019 has been an immense learning experience. Every day at GHV has
helped me to hone my skills in time management, coordination with people, documentation, and development of a
positive team spirit. There are ample opportunities for self-enrichment at GHV which motivates us to perform better.
The training conducted and the guidance provided goes a long way for professional development and adds value to
our experience.

As a teacher in GHV for the past one year, I am enthralled with the arena of opportunities that I have been given to
explore and excel. Handling the 'Interschool Literature Festival' was the paradigm of tactfulness. The
responsibility of being the House Mistress of 'Vaari' House has given me reasons to admire and manoeuvre the
competencies of students' talent and capabilities magnificently in all the Extra - Curricular events. This amazing
work experience of teaching in GHV gave me a unique perception of the possibilities that could never be thought of
in the teaching profession before.
