Eco-Schools International

Over 3 weeks in March, Eco-Schools Canada hosted a Summit for all of

the Eco-Schools across the country – the main themes being ‘Low Carbon

Commuting’, ‘Outdoor Learning’, ‘Waste Reduction’ and ‘Climate Action’.
Guests had the opportunity to share and learn about Eco-Schools and wider

environmental work which had taken place over the past year and the plans
to come.

During the event, a panel discussing Low-Carbon commuting, using

electric vehicles and encouraging more active travel was held. This

was accompanied by webinars to help educators improve their own
understanding of sustainable transportation.
