DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM


               Learner doing agriculture and entrepreneurship are entailed to yearly practical activities as part
               of their syllabus and education curriculum for agriculture and entrepreurship. Practical it one of

               the requirements to be done by each learner to contribute their final year mark as it has been
               done in the previous years as. This year 2020 it has been different year since learner could not

               make the garden and host entrepreneurship day were, they used to sell goods and show cased

               their talent on how creative and innovative they are.

               Through doing practical activity it allows learner to gain leadership and management skill which

               they will use for the rest of their life. Practical activity help leaner develop knowledge,
               understanding, creativity; practical and experimental skills as a solid foundation for academic

               training to prepare learners for creative and meaningful adult life help learners develop self-

               confidence, self-knowledge and understanding of the world in which they live, through
               meaningful scientific activities. At the end of the events they use to submit written report to their

               teacher.

               According to the syllabus of agriculture learners are required to make a garden in the school

               premises which they have to maintain, monitor and manage until the crop reach maturity. During

               the pandemic days learner days of going to school were reduced to twice a week which brought a
               big challenge to the learning activities. Practical activates are important in the learning process of

               the learner since it can help them to be future farmer and entrepreneur. Learner should have
               practical knowhow on how to prepare land. Etosha SSS is one of the schools found in Tsumeb

               district regarded as maize triangle so practical activities in agriculture and entrepreneurship are
               of economic importance.


               Teacher tried to carry practical face to face through practicing social distance, wearing of masks

               and try to sanities, but learner could not adhere Covid -19 regulation which resulted to practical
               not be continued.
