Similarities:
1. Both Coastal plains are stretching from North to South.
2. Both Coastal plains are receiving abundant rainfall during
south west monsoons.
3. East and west coastal plains are extending between the sea
and mountain ranges.
4. Both East and West coastal plains covered with fertile soil.
Differences:
1. In eastern coastal plains there are river deltas, whereas in
West coastal plains there are no river deltas.
2. East coastal plain is wider than West coastal plain.
