Virtual Reality
While Solid Modeling is a very powerful design tool it is difficult for those who are not living in the CAD world to
realize true scale. We can bring our solid models into virtual reality where the user experiences the model in full
scale. We are currently using this to verify operator lines of sight, ergonomics of controls, and to verify access for
maintenance activity.
Example: Loram Track Vac (LTV) Operator vision and
ergonomics.
3D Printing
We can send our Solid Models to a 3D printer to verify fit and function. We have been able to prototype and test
multiple iterations of a design at a fraction of the cost and time to fabricate parts in steel.
Example: Using 3D printing for rapid prototype of
parts for Material Handling Cars.
