FLEET VEHICLE UPDATES

SAFER, SMARTER, MORE EFFICIENT

Technology in our vehicle fleet continues to improve the ability for us to travel as a company over 7 million miles a
year safely. Features like Nauto and Blind Spot Information System have helped Loram lower the amount of “at
fault” accidents and the cost associated with them. We continue to invest in safety features for our vehicle fleet.
New for 2020 we have added options including Pre-Collision Assist with automatic emergency braking, Adaptive
Cruise Control with forward collision warning to our F-250 orders. Pre collision assist scans the road ahead and can
alert you to potential collisions with vehicles detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and the driver
does not take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically to avoid the collision. Adaptive cruise control
with forward collision warning and brake support lets you select the speed and distance you want to maintain from
the vehicle in front of you. When traffic ahead slows down, you automatically do too, and will automatically resume
the preset speed when traffic picks back up. If you are getting too close to the vehicle in front of you the forward
collision warning with brake support will alert you to a potential collision by flashing red brake lights on the heads up
display on the windshield and an audible alert will sound. The brakes will also pre-charge and increase sensitivity
providing full responsiveness when you do brake.
These investments in technology will continue to help us be a safer, smarter and a more efficient fleet on the road,
ensuring all Loram team members get to and from work as safely as possible.
