My Emerald Isle
People usually come out to the park and wait until
the big trucks with the music start to rock, so they
can have a street jump up. Oh what fun that is!
That’s not all. The savory smell of the fried, BBQ
and jerked chicken and pork mixed with the smell
of muffins and Johnny-bakes make one’s stomach
roar and grumble for a taste of the food.
Do you know that only three places in the world
celebrate St Patrick’s Day? Let me tell you which
country they are. They are Ireland, Canada’s
Province of Newfound Land, and of course, my
beautiful Island of Montserrat.
