Solar Energy
Energy from the sun referred to as solar energy, is a
renewable energy source used to power our homes,
businesses, and communities. Solar energy can also be used
for cooking, heating, cooling, crop drying, distillation, and
pumping water. Solar energy is the energy obtained by
capturing heat and light from the sun. Solar energy systems
use the sun’s rays for electricity or thermal (heat) energy.
Solar energy fluctuates from one place to another depending on geographical factors, sea levels
of the year, and local weather conditions.
