Solar Photovoltaic

Solar photovoltaic commonly referred to as

solar PV, is a technology that converts

sunlight directly into electricity using panels.

The process of converting light (photons) to

electricity (voltage) is called the solar
photovoltaic (PV) effect.

Concentrated Solar Power

CSP technology concentrates sunlight

using mirrors and reflectors to collect solar

energy and turn it into thermal (heat)
energy. The heat creates steam to drive

turbines that generate electric power.
