FOOD & BEVERAGE NEWS From David Kent
A BIG shout out and Thank You to all our Briarwood Members who have helped us sustain our Food & Beverage ‘Take Out
Program’. As we approach lifting some of our restrictions, I want to assure you that we are taking every precaution to ensure
everyone’s safety. Our entire kitchen, including coolers and freezers has been cleaned and sanitized in anticipation of our
re-opening. Dining rooms have been rearranged to ensure safe distancing while still allowing for conversation and of course,
our spectacular views. Menus have been constructed to allow us to better serve you in a safe and timely manner. Healthy
options will now make up a good portion of both Lunch and Dinner menus. Ala Carte options will allow us to provide quick
and efficient service. Reservations or appointments will now be a requirement for seating in the Dining Room to help ensure
the safety of everyone. We look forward to seeing our Briarwood friends very soon.

Greetings Briarwood family and welcome new Members! This past month has been quite the adjustment for us all. While we
miss the direct contact inside the clubhouse and social gathering over all, we have continued to keep food and beverage in the
Cactus Bar alive and well. Thank you for all your generous support and patronage!
As we swoon into the triple digits, refreshing cocktails AND mock tails are just a few shakes away! Try any of our popular
specialties: a Briar-Rita - Tequila, Triple Sec, fresh lime and a splash of OJ. The 18 Hole Lady – Deep Eddy’s Ruby Red
Grapefruit Vodka, club soda, fresh lime. The Good ‘Ol Boy – Briarwood’s Long Island Iced Tea. The Grave ‘Digger’ (named
by our very own) – Bulleit Bourbon, Sweet Vermouth, a dash of bitters, and a splash of club soda.
To really cool off, let us mix you up a frozen Margarita, Orange Creamsicle, Daiquiri, or a Pina Colada. Virgin options of
these drinks are always available. Since all of our beverages are ‘to go’, we can also provide you with most any drink recipe
and ingredients as a customized ‘Cocktail Kit’ to take home… just add ice, shake and/or blend!
We look forward to keeping you hydrated and refreshed.. CHEERS!

On behalf of myself and Staff, please give a huge ‘shout out of appreciation’ to our Maintenance Engineer John Curtis for tak-
ing the time to repair, update and enhance the three bar areas in the Club. John has been diligent in his work to improve these
high traffic and profitable areas that are integral to the success of not only our daily operations, but valued Member and out-
side party events for Food & Beverage revenue overall. THANK YOU JOHN!
