most dnngerouo for rifleo qo now uocd to "be fired over the
heado of crowds in thickly populated places like Manamah.
The majority of the injuries suffered were suffered by
persons who wore not immediately taking part in the
demonstration.
Y/e consider the action of Havildar Hamid bin Rashid
deserves the highest praise, he behaved as every responsible i
policeman should behave in a crisis of this nature.
Y/o also consider that in such conditions as these
police officers should have been out with their men and
that the control of the police and the crowd should not have
been left to Havildars.
Y/e also consider that the actions of Ali bin Hassan
Sharah and hiB two fellow machine-gunners in obeying the
instruction of Havildar Hamid not to fire deserves
commendation.
