                                  His Exoellonoy tho Vioeroy, aiid wo havo littlo furthor to add.

                                  yor-sson Joan and of Madarao Nattau, but cannot identify oilhor with tho
                                  writing found in tbo translation roforred to in tho first paragraph of Foreign
                                  Dopartmout lettor No. 4472-E.B. Thoro remain Goguyor's youngor son and
                                  Madamo Nnttan’s daugbtor, who might lmvo writton it, but I seo no likolU
                                  hood of boing ablo to obtain specimens of their bandwriting for tho prosont,
                                  and thoroforo have tbo houour to roturn tho translation in question, together
                                  with tho Arabic original of tho potition to His Majosty’s Socrotary of Stato,
                                  receivod with Foroign Department lettor No. 4699-E.B., in oaso tho Govern­
                                  ment of India should think it dcsirablo to instituto enquirios through tho
                                  Polico authorities in Bombay.
                                      As regards tbo Maskat trade, Mos9rs. KynooVs cbiof constituents nro tbo
                                  British Indian Tradors, Damodar Dharamseo, Dhanjeo Pursbotum Dhanjeo, and

                                  gathorod in intercourse with Sheikh Esa, tho latter has novor had any diroct
                                  dealings with Messrs, Kynoch nor doos ho know thoir namo. I think it would
                                  houseful if tho Commissioner of Polico in Bombay wero asked to inform us
                                  who arc tho firm's oustomary correspondents or Agents in that oity.
