                                                            I have received your despatch No.

                                   *32/742 of March 8th respecting British intervention on boiffllf

                                   of tho Sheikhs of Truciul Oman.   Our right to insist on tho*

                                   Poroian Government accepting 3uch intervention is unassailable

                                   in view of our published Treaties of 1892.   It seems likely

                                   that His Majesty'8 Government will now insist on final recogni­

                                   tion by the Persian Government of our rights rospoctlng Bahrein

                                   and Bahreinis ulso.   I am inclined to think that these matters

                                   will best bo dealt with simultaneously.
