                                      4th,—Should His Royal Highnoss during the period tho British
                                              troops aro stationed in tho Gulf require tho services ol
                                             one or two cruizors from tho station to proceed to any of
                                             the islands or ports of Persia, they aro to bo furnished,
                                             and particularly so on tho prosont occasions when an
                                             expedition is in contemplation against Bahroin to reduce
                                             it to obedience, His Royal Highness promising after the
                                             service may bo over to dismiss the vcssols with proper
                                              houour ahd respect. Should tho vessels bo required
                                             beyond tho period of 40 days, provisions and uccossarios
                                             to be supplied by His Royal Highness, in failure of
                                             whioli tho vosscls aro at liberty to roturn.
                                      otli.—Such vcssols and stores as His Royal Highness may require,
                                              to bo at liberty to purchaso thorn in any of tho ports of
                                             India without molestation from the Government.
                               Tho Vakils of tho two Governments who now exchange ongagomcuis
                            agree to prosent them to their rospoctivo Govornmonts for their consideration
                            and approbation, and for the guidnneo of each other in caso of change of
                            Governors.
