           'Vhcrcus the regional waters between the Kingdom of baud! ivrabia
      and the Government of Bahru in meet together in many places overlooked
      by their respective coasts,

           And in view of the royal proclamation issued by the kingdom of
      Suuul Arubir on the 1st Sha'ubun in the your 13bb (corresponding to
      2btil May lylpj) und the ordinance lsuuud by the Government of jjuliruin
      on the 5th June 1$/by about the exploitation of the sou bed,

           And in view of the necessity for an agreement to define the under­
      water ureas belonging to both countries,
           And in view of the spirit of affection ana mutual friendship and
      the desire of 11.«i. the King of Saudi Arabia to extend every possible
      assistance to the Government of Bahrain,
           the following agreement has been made:

      1 .  The boundary line between the Kingdom of baudi Arabia and the
      Bahrain Government will begin, on the lias is of the middle line from
      point 1, which is situated at the mid-loint of the line running *
      between the tip of the naa a I. Bar (a) (I) at the southern extremity
      of Bahrain andKus Muhurrn (ll)(v) on the coast of the Kingdom of
      baudi Arabia.

      2.   Then the above-mentioned middie line will extend from point 1 to
      peinl 2 situated at the mid-point of the line run.-jug between Point
      (A) (\) unci the nor ..hern tip of the island of ^aklinunlya (G) (£).
      5.   Thun the lino will extend 1 rom point 2 i.u point 5 situated
      at the mid-point of the line running between point A and the tip of
      !<us Guiyu (jj) (.>).
      h.   Then the line will extend from point } to point b, which is
      defined on the attached map und which is situated at the mid-point of
      the line running between the two points JJ (A) and V (.*) which are
      both defined on the map.
      5.   Then the line will extend from point J| to point 5, which is
      defined on the map and which is situated at the point of the line
      running between the two points G (✓) and 11 (v) which are defined on
      the mup.
      b.   Then the line will extone from point 5 to point 6, which is
      defined on the map und which is situated at the mid-point of the line
      rum.aiig between the two points X (J?) and J (<3) which tire defined on
      the map.
      7.   Then the line will extend from point 6 to point 7 situated at the
      mid-point of the lino running between the south Western tip of the
      island of Uinm hasan (l\) (dJ) and lias a! .ureya (L) (j).
      b.   Then the lino will extend from point 7 to point b situated at the
      western extremity of the island Al Balnu As bnghlr, leaving the
      island to the Government of Bahrain.
