In terms of leadership - I am head of the transportation engineers. I will also point out if you talk to my
staff they would tell you that I have created a very positive environment for them. The Director is the
interface between the public and staff and they need to be able to take their concerns and bring them
back to the staff and make sure they feel that they are being heard. Problem solving I say is important -
because I have found that over time as you rise up in the organization things tend to be more complex -
so it requires more outside the box thinking. You are often putting out difficult fires and you have to be
able to do those things. Hopefully when you look at my background - hopefully I have demonstrated
excellence in those areas.
Would relocate if he gets the job.
Licensed as a civil and traffic engineer.
