survive. Why would a person work two jobs,

even if one could suffice? Simple. People desire the

power to control their situations, and they find that

power in the money. Some people spend decades

working extra-long hours to gain affluence, even

though it often means sacrificing time with their

family, friends, God, and their health. Money

becomes their god , even if unintentionally, it is what

some people end up serving for many years.

God’s goal is to restore His children to their

proper place. Our appropriate position is living like
Him; therefore, our lives are a direct reflection of

Him.

You see, in a kingdom, the most valuable asset to

the king is his people. The people of a kingdom are

a direct reflection of the king. 1 Samuel 12: 22 says,

“For the sake of His great name the Lord will not

reject HIS people, because the Lord was pleased to

make you HIS own.”

Let me break this down for you with a
