Satan has attempted to change the focus of

culture from God’s narrative of plenty to self-

preservation and scarcity. Check it out! Genesis 3:5,

“For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof,

then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as

gods, knowing good and evil.” And Satan uses this

same tactic today, convincing everyone that God

only has a limited amount of resources available.

Have you heard of the name Jdimytai Damour? He

was the security guard that trampled to death on

Black Friday. A perfect example of scarcity in action

is seeing people fight over tissue paper during the

COVID-19 virus outbreak.

The economic concepts of the Kingdom of God

eliminate the economy of this world as our source

of life and place it in The Kingdom of Heaven.

When Jesus says, “God knows you need these

things,” (Mat 6:8 and 6:32) He encourages us to look

to Him as our source and not to look to ourselves as

our source.

Just think about it; why do we work? Usually, it is

because we want to buy the things we need to
