#3.KW9 2016 Argiano Solengo IGT Super Tuscan Tuscany
Solengo is a modern, well-balanced and full-bodied wine. It is deep, dark purple in color with a bouquet of ripe fruit, such as blackcurrants and
blackberries, with a hint of toasted oak. It is smooth on the palate, with a great concentration of excellent fruit, nicely balanced with delicate, soft tannins.
The structure and complexity in the mouth are outstanding, tempered by excellent tannic extracts. This high-profile blend has evident Mediterranean
characteristics and a sunny nature. Its grace and delicacy mean that it can be drunk while young, yet it also has a remarkable ageing capacity.

“This is a fantastic red with balance and intensity. Full-bodied, deep and balanced. Shows beautiful harmony and class. Happy to taste this! A blend of
cabernet sauvignon, merlot and syrah”. James Suckling 98-99 Points

“A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Petit Verdot (25%), Merlot (20%) and Sangiovese (5%), the 2016 Solengo is a terrific wine and I enjoyed my sample
down to the very last drop that I coaxed from the bottle with happy enthusiasm. This is a full-bodied red (but not in an exaggerated manner) with plump and
fruit-forward aromas of dark cherry, blackberry, plum, spice and sweet tobacco. The wine is balanced with excellent depth and mouthfeel momentum. I highly
recommend this wine from both the 2015 and 2016 vintages, which are both terrific. Some 25,000 bottles were made. Rating: 95+ Robert Parker

#6.D 2016 Isole e Olena Cepparello / Sangiovese IGT Tuscany
The flagship wine consists of 100% Sangiovese aged in French oak barrels. Over the years, Paolo has refined his Cepparello by giving it more air during
vinification and increasing time spent in oak from 12-14 months to 18-20 months. Although De Marchi started focusing on the use of better quality
oak around 1993, it is the increased age of the vineyards themselves that have given Cepparello its overall finesse. The wine is made from a top selec-
tion of the estate’s best fruits from the vineyards in Barberino Val d’Elsa in the northern part of Chianti Classico.

“The beautiful Isole e Olena 2016 Cepparello is a gorgeous and precise expression of Sangiovese. This is one of the icon wines of the vintage that shows a
naked and transparent portrait of the grape on the one hand, with the complexity of the vintage and its territory on the other. Cepparello is like a crystal
ball into the heart and soul of Sangiovese, Tuscany’s mighty red grape. It is fermented in conical oak casks and later aged 20 months in 95% French and 5%
American oak, of which only one-third is new wood. The wine delivers ample structure and contouring, with a firm and silky consistency at its core. Some
42,000 bottles were made. This wine should age over the better part of the next 20 years”. 97 points, Monica Larner

“Paolo de Marchi’s ‘study in Sangiovese’ is a selection of the vintage’s finest grapes from Isole e Olena’s oldest vineyards, high up in Chianti Classico’s western
sector of Barberino Tavarnelle. Harvested in mid-October, it is a captivating tangle of earth, spring blossom, coffee, tobacco and cedar. Perfumed lavender
and violet lift the generous dark fruit and the brilliantly tactile powdery texture lends further dimension. This reaches great depths while simultaneously
soaring effortlessly to heady heights. Positively succulent and moreish on the finish. 98 points, Decanter

#2.KW10 2018 San Giusto Chianti Classico / Sangiovese DOCG Chianti Classico, Tuscany
San Giusto a Rentennano (name of Etruscan origin), is set high on the river Arbia in the southernmost part of Chianti Classico. Ancient Cistercian
monastery (hence formerly called San Giusto alle Monache), then indomitable fortress, was marked on the border, according to a treaty of 1204, between
the counties of Siena and Florence. Guelph battlements of the castle remain of the wall, the massive walls and Barbican underground cellars, still used
for aging wine in barrels. Property of the Martini family of Cigala since 1914, today the brothers Anna, Lucia, Elisabetta, Francesca, Alessandro, Luca.

Hand-picked when perfectly mature. It is fermented in glazed concrete and stainless steel vats for about 14 days. During fermentation the skins and must
are pumped-over and punched-down a number of times to extract the maximum qualities from the grapes. After the wine has been racked , the skins
are soft-pressed in an horizontal press and the juice thus obtained is added to the wine. Malolactic fermentation is stimulated by heating the building
         where the vats are stored.

#3.KW11 2015 San Giorgio Ugolforte Brunello di Montalcino / Sangiovese DOCG Montalcino, Tuscany
Brunello ‘Ugolforte’ was named after a local revolutionary that lead the forces against Siena in the 12th century. From the oldest vineyards, the wine is
aged in barriques (30% new) for twelve months and then in larger Slavonian casks for three years. A rich full-bodied Brunello with dark berry fruit and
         spice.

There’s wonderful polish and focus to the vibrant nose here, which frames sour cherries, raspberries, fruit tea and darker, earthier elements. Medium-to full-
bodied and beautifully pure and inviting, this is a dialed-in Brunello with sweeping acidity and finely chiseled tannins. Drink from 2021. 94 points, James
