FUNKY FEST
‘Funky Fest’ is a Treasure Hunt type of a project done every year to build fellowship among
potential and prospective members of the club while gaining knowledge about the club activities.

‘Funky Fest’ is a phase of the Treasure hunt done every year to build fellowship among the
newcomers and the prospective members of the club while gaining knowledge about the club
activities. The project consisted of an induction session to acquaint the potential members on the
club history and the background, followed by two days of various fun activities done in teams. The
main theme was selected as memes to make it more memorable by giving a chance to all the
members to get rid of their monotonous lives in this pandemic situation and to have an enjoyable
time with the other members.
Participants from all the 09 faculties were randomly divided into 24 teams to make sure that each
person gets to make friends from other faculties. From day 01 onwards, teams were given tasks such
as creating a meme post and a challenge to make sure that they interact with each other. The meme
posts were posted on our official club page and were opened to the public to select which one was
the most creative one through reacting it.
The main and most interacting session of the project was conducted via breakout rooms in zoom
with enthusiastic performances by the participants for nearly 05 hrs. The project succeeded in
attracting many new undergraduates and the WhatsApp groups created will be active for as long as
the members wish and as expected, bonds were created without any boundaries.
