advocates for themselves and others n their facility. Ombudsmen participate several ways with the PEERs such as

providing them training, assisting them with their PEER meetings and conference calls and working with them n issues at

their facility.
During your training you will shadow a PEER activity. While shadowing that activity, complete the Trainee Journal for PEER.
t is also suggested you conduct an interview with a PEER. You can document this interview on the PEER interview form.
These forms are available under the Attachments tab on the left-hand side. Click on the paper clip to view all

downloadable and fillable documents. Once you click on a document in the list you can view, complete, or save the
document. When you are finished viewing, completing, or saving the document, click on the small x in the upper right-
hand corner to close the document and return to the manual.
