Here was the Lilloet River, shining in the light of the

western sun. It would be dark soon, and it was time to

drift down and set up camp. Twinkle adjusted her

binoculars and watched for a good landing place. Soon

she saw the forest campsite that would be her stopping

spot, just as the orca had told her.

With the balloon safely down, Twinkle went about

setting up her tent with the sleeping bag for the cool

night ahead. She gathered some dry wood and built a

little campfire. The moon was starting to rise just as she

purified some water from the stream. Dinner was dried

soup mix, along with cashews and raisins. Thank

goodness she was going to Mirabel's place, where the

food is so good and the music is beautiful. What a deep

sleep she had in the fresh mountain air.
