The faculty of engineering has formed a subcommittee to study student issues and problems,

Therefore, to collect student problems from scientific programs, study them, and take the

necessary decisions that help the educational process and achieve justice among students. The
decision to form a subcommittee to solve students’ problems and issues is attached (Annex S1-1-

9-5). A meeting of a subcommittee of the study student issues and problems was also held (Annex

S1-1-9-6). The committee studied nine cases of student issues and took the necessary decisions.
Also attached are some cheating records for some students whose decisions the committee took

in these records.

1.2 Program Quality Assurance

1-2-1 The program management implements an effective quality assurance and management
system that is consistent with the institution quality system.
The Mechanical Engineering Department applies an effective quality assurance and management

system by the quality system at Al-Baha University, by the guide of the Deanship of Quality and

Development. The deanship of university development at Al-Baha University has issued a guide to

the quality management system and academic accreditation, which contains the qualification
requirements for institutional accreditation as well as the accreditation of programs. It also

includes the general structure of the quality system of Al-Baha University (Annex S1-2-1-1). the

structure of the quality system for the Mechanical engineering program (Annex S1-2-1-2). The

quality system in the Mechanical engineering program was prepared by the quality committee
(Annex S1-2- 1-3). The program's quality system is activated and decisions are taken through the

minutes of the program's quality committee meetings, (Annex S1-2- 1-4). The quality work in the

program is also discussed and activated through the minutes of department council meetings ,

(Annex S1-2- 1-5). The MENG program administration provides a guide to accreditation
documents, which was provided by the permanent higher committee for quality and academic

accreditation in its second session on 2/20/1445, (Annex S1-2- 1-6).

1-2-2 The program analyzes the key performance indicators and the evaluation data annually
and results are used in planning, development, and decision-making processes. *

The program administration adopts the KPIs used to evaluate the quality of the Mechanical

engineering program. The performance indicators were chosen based on the KPIs guide, Al-Baha
