University benchmarking, (Annex S1-2-2-1) and the development of evidence to support meeting a
specific standard or sub-standard (or not). Annual reports of performance indicators for the
Mechanical Engineering Department are analyzed and they also lead to ongoing support for
decision making and improvement processes (Annex S1-2-2-2). KPIs report was discussed and
approved by the Mechanical engineering department Council No. 3 (Annex S1-2-2-3). Based on the
results of the analysis of performance indicators, several reports are prepared. The PLOs reports
were also prepared at the program level by direct and indirect assessment. They also lead to
continuous decision-making support and improvement processes, (Annex S1-2-2-4). PLOs report
was discussed and approved by the Mechanical engineering department council No. 3 (Annex S1-
2-2-5). In course reports in Mechanical engineering program, the program management adopts
KPIs to measure the learning outcomes of the program’s courses, such as knowledge, skills, and
values, (Annex S1-2-2-6). Analysis of course reports were also prepared at the program level. They
also lead to continuous decision-making support and improvement processes, (Annex S1-2-2-7).
Analysis of course report was discussed and approved by the Mechanical engineering department
council No. 1 (Annex S1-2-2-8). Al-Baha University has designed a well-established platform,
www.jodah.org to calculate the results of the direct and indirect assessments of the Courses
Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and PLOs. This platform is mainly used in the Mechanical engineering
program to assess CLOs and PLOs assessment results. The professional advisory council was
established for the college of engineering, where the vision and mission of the college and the
characteristics of its graduates were discussed, the learning outcomes of the college of
engineering and the quality of graduates were discussed, and also feedback from employment
agencies, which helps in continuous decision-making support and improvement processes, (Annex
S1-2-2-9). Accordingly, faculty staff, students and employers participate in the planning, quality
assurance and decision-making processes by faculty and staff surveys (Annex S1-2-2-10), students
surveys (Annex S1-2-2-11), and employer surveys for students Al-Baha University graduates
(Annex S1-2-2-12). The results of the surveys are analyzed through the program KPIs report and
PLOs reports, and through these analyzes decisions are made. The program operational plan
(Annex S1-2-2-13) shows how improvements are planned. The program’s operational plan was
discussed and approved by the Mechanical engineering department council No. 5 (Annex S1-2-4-
14). The Scientific research committee also prepared a 5-year plan to develop various practical
