The periodic evaluation and review process for academic programs is defined as a systematic
review and evaluation process for all academic programs and components at a specific time

identifying a program’s strengths and weaknesses and assessing and strengthening its academic

units to ensure its quality and continuous improvement (Annex S2-1-1-2 Program Design and

Development Handbook page No.10-14). The process of evaluating and reviewing the academic
program periodically aims to make sure that:

− The program is consistent with its vision, mission, and goals.

− Keeping pace with the teaching and learning strategies and evaluation methods specified in

the program document for the best educational practices suitable for university education.
               − Up-to-date program content.

− The program specification provides professional guidance to graduates.

− Courses carry a balanced weight to fulfill the program’s goals.

− The course document clarifies the operational plan of the program.
− The responsibility of every educational program to observe and review its performance.

All internal audits within the Colleges and Programs are based on the standards developed for

institutional accreditation as well as the programmatic accreditation standards for the advanced

accreditation programs. The internal auditor uses a set of instruments as a means of collecting
data on the matters that need to be answered by the stakeholders or from the various documents

(Annex S2-1-1-3 Internal Audit Mechanism Colleges-Programs page No.2-5).

Moreover, external reviewer report for MENG program is presented (Annex S2-1-1-4 External
