1 Heat the oil and butter in a wok over high heat. Once the butter has melted, toss in
the garlic and, if using, the chili peppers. Sauté the garlic and peppers until lightly
browned and fragrant.
2 Add the green beans, sweet soy sauce, soy sauce, and sambal oelek. Sauté for just
about 1 minute until the green beans are crisp but tender. Serve on a bed of steamed
white rice or as a side dish to meat or poultry dishes.
