normal given the times we're living in. At the end of the
day, your proposal is simply to disrupt my team for a few
months to train your technicians and sales people, and
then "arrivederci" and you do all the business and take all
the credit.
To sum up, my answer to your question is "no", because
I have the deep feeling that right now, in your eyes, I'm a
sucker.

However, I can offer a real solution. IBM, the distributor and
ourselves (IRE) create a new company, each bringing its own

expertise, and we can - very quickly - meet all your needs.
Very surprised, they explained that my proposal could
not be implemented quickly, because if IBM wanted to
create a new company, they would first have to ask the
"legal" department and then obtain the agreement of IBM
Paris, which is the European centre. This whole procedure
will take at least six to eight months. I can only acknowledge
the failure and tell them that I remain at their disposal
should they change their minds, and I leave the meeting.

At the end of July, I was on vacation in San Giovanni Lipioni
for three weeks. After about ten days, someone in the village
told me that IBM had called and I should call them back,
which I did the next day. They invited me to another meeting
on August 22, upon my return to Belgium.
