phases. I personally led the conceptual analysis phase . For

each of the company's processes, I had drawn on a 3m x 6m
wall all the information flows within a department, but also
between departments. At regular meetings, if anyone had
any doubts about the flow of information, we would go to the
wall to check it against the model. Everyone in the company
had the same vision for the IT system. For the programming

phase, we opted for a new approach called RAD (Rapid
Application Development) where users were involved in all
phases of the project.
The developments were completed and tested on
schedule. All training had been planned and the new
applications were put into production.

Very often, new applications were launched on a Monday. In
this way, the teams involved prepare everything that's
needed over the weekend, and on Monday it's off to the
races. Some people call it "Black Monday". Not us. The 1st
week was a bit difficult, but then, after tuning applications
and system parameters, the results were conclusive.
