Harley-Davidson trips
the evening, the view of Las Vegas is enchanting. Catered by
three waiters, the evening was a huge success.
Another one of the great moments of my life.
To live is to feel!
For the planning, we were lucky enough to be assisted by two
people who ran a travel agency specializing in the USA and,
above all, who also rode Harley-Davidsons. They had
already done this trip more than twenty times. They knew
the route inside out. One would lead the way and the other
would ride in the back. They had helmets with built-in radio
systems, which were very useful when crossing towns.
In practice, bikers rented their preferred Harley-Davidson
model . Personally, I rented a Road King, as it was the bike

I had and I didn't want to take any chances. The women who
accompanied us either rode with their husbands or partners,
or rented a convertible. To close the procession, we had a
minivan with a driver to take suitcases, cold drinks and a
spare motorcycle. We didn't want to run the risk of missing
out on such a wonderful trip because of a mechanical
breakdown.
When we were about twenty kilometers from the next
stop, the minivan driver went ahead to prepare for check-in
and put our suitcases in the rooms. A dream come true!
132 The rental companies had contracts with Harley-Davidson. They always had
the year's bikes, which they would keep for 6 months and then return to
Harley-Davidson. So we always had the latest models.
