The cliffs are again of hexagonal columnar dolerite – if anything, more spectacular than at Cape Hauy
               – and the reward on reaching the tip of the cape is panoramic views across Maingon Bay to the
entrance to Port Arthur, Cape Pillar and Tasman Island.

The wild beauty of the Tasman Peninsula coast is unsurpassed. Walkers need to take great care around
cliffs, which are unfenced in most places, and be adequately prepared for Tasmania’s stormy weather
               at any time of year.
