Red-capped Parrot
The starting point is at the ‘Tree in the rock’ – a lone karri tree that has taken root in the middle of a
granite rock proving that anything in life is possible! Following the trail we walked amongst the lush
karri forests immersing ourselves in the understorey of lichens and moss covered logs. The wild
flowers and colours of the bush was just stunning and at every turn, another smile would appear on
our faces; delighted by the creativity of Mother Nature. Once out of the forest we found ourselves
on open granite with views of the surrounding farmland.
