Greetings from Nilsen College! As we reflect on the year gone by, we celebrate not only
academic success but also the spirit of innovation, resilience, and community that

defines our institution.

Staff & Students

The college is powered by 26 dedicated staff members, including 24 teachers and 2
ancillary staff. With 217 students across 9 streams, the school remains committed to

nurturing excellence. Teacher transitions brought fresh expertise, ensuring continuity in
quality education.

Academic Success
Year 13 students achieved a 100% pass rate for the second consecutive year, a testament

to the hard work of both learners and educators.

Innovation in Learning

The Rotary Club’s support enabled the “One Laptop per Child” initiative for Year 13,
equipping students for the digital age. Extra classes—holiday, Saturday, and night

sessions—ensured every student had the chance to succeed.

Curriculum & Enrichment
Revised English and Mathematics curricula emphasized creativity, performance tasks,

and problem-solving. Students showcased their talents in the Fiji Mathematics
