Sports Achievements
• Rugby: Strong performances in the Deans U19 competition.
• Soccer: Girls’ team finished runner-up, qualifying for Nationals.
• Netball: U17 team secured 3rd place in Ba Tavua District.
• Athletics: A proud return with a bronze medal in high jump after 10 years.
Values & Community
Daily prayers, moral education, and the SUIS program reinforced discipline, gratitude,
and respect. Vatukoula Gold Mines continued their generous support, providing utilities
and backing sports development.
School Projects
Major upgrades included:
• Maintenance of the Upper Block (fascia board, overhang, Industrial Arts room
tiling)
• Renovation of restrooms
• Painting of the lower block
These improvements strengthened the learning environment and reflected the college’s
commitment to progress.
As Nilsen College looks ahead, the year’s achievements remind us that education is more
