The PEMAC Department at Balata College plays a pivotal role in the holistic development
of students by nurturing their physical, creative, and emotional well-being. This
department is designed to provide a well-rounded educational experience that goes
beyond academics, fostering the development of critical life skills such as teamwork,
creativity, physical fitness, emotional expression, and cultural awareness.

This year, the department successfully organized and participated in multiple
competitions and events that allowed students to showcase their talents across physical
education and sports. These activities not only fostered school spirit but also promoted
active engagement within the student body, staff, and parents.

Art and Craft played a significant role in fostering creativity and providing students with a
platform for self-expression. These activities allowed students to explore and
communicate their ideas, emotions, and unique perspectives through various artistic
mediums. Similarly, Music contributed greatly to the intellectual, emotional, and social
               growth of students.

One of the biggest achievements for the department was the remarkable success of one
athlete, who secured a silver medal at the Fiji Finals and earned the opportunity to
represent the country at the Pacific Mini Games in Palau. Notably, Rusiate Matai made us

all proud by winning a gold medal for Fiji and, in a remarkable accomplishment, also
secured a scholarship to study at Nesho County Community College in Kansas, USA.

As we come to the end of another successful year, the PEMAC Department would like to
extend our heartfelt thanks to all students, staff, and parents for their unwavering support
and participation. The achievements and growth we’ve
witnessed in the students this year are a testament to
the collective effort and commitment of our school
               community.

As the holiday season approaches, we wish everyone
a happy and restful holiday. May this time be filled
with joy, peace, and renewal, and may God bless us
all as we look forward to another year of growth,

               learning, and success.
