The Social Science Department is equipped with substantial number of resources such
as charts, models, maps and globes. For this, we thank the Fiji Water Foundation Grant
that the department received for the past 2 years. This has enabled the department
teachers immensely in the teaching and learning process.
As the Head of Department, I wish to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the teachers and
the students in making the year a successful one. I must also pay tribute to the school

management, the administrators and not forgetting the ancillary staff for their assistance
throughout the year.

content area but an issue that reflects how people view themselves and so tend to
