As the Head of Department Commerce, I am pleased to present this report highlighting
our achievements, activities and future for the academic year. Our department
continues to strive for excellence in providing students with a comprehensive
understanding of Accounting, Economics and Commercial Studies.
Our achievements include:
100% Pass Rate in Year 12 Accounting and Economics in 2017.
100% Pass Rate in Year 13 Accounting in the Year 2021.
100% Pass Rate in Year 13 Economics in the academic Year 2018 / 2023.
Our students participated in various school competitions, showing their skills in
business simulations, quiz and models. Their commendable performances have
brought recognition to our department.
We believe in fostering a collaborative learning environment. Also, we encouraged
students to form study groups, promoting teamwork and collaborative learning.
Looking ahead we aim more technology into our teaching methods such as digital tolls,
to better prepare students for the digital economy and produce good results.
In conclusion, the Commerce Department remains committed to providing high -quality
education and preparing our students for successful careers in the business world. I
would like to thank our dedicated faculty, supportive administration and enthusiastic
students for their contributions to our department’s success. Together, we will continue
to achieve great things.
