ACTION 1.1 – The Executive Team will prepare an implementation plan detailing how our
guiding principles will be embedded within the business and thereafter monitor

ACTION 1.2 – Undertake an online survey once per annum which captures feedback from
staff, allowing the degree of implementation and success of each of the 10 principles to be
measured [Shane Kelly].
ACTION 1.3 – Develop policies embedding diversity and inclusion within the business

ACTION 1.4 – Implementation of the staff retention, engagement and well being initiatives
agreed by the Executive Team on an ongoing basis [Siobhan Tinnelly / Brian Carroll].
ACTION 1.5 – Preparation of an annual competencies and skills matrix based on objectives
and priorities from the Board through to operations divisions, aligning our continuing
professional development (CPD) programme to these objectives, with a continued focus
on leadership development [Damien Grehan].
ACTION 1.6 – Develop guidelines and policies on flexible working arrangements in
accordance with divisional objectives [Damien Grehan].
ACTION 1.7 – Establish a technical and quality subcommittee with the objective of putting
in place those measures necessary to ensure the quality of our work is right the first time,
and always checked before it leaves the business [Michael McDonnell].
ACTION 1.8 – Resource and implement a TOBIN Academy, a forum to support the delivery
of our leadership development programme; training in the delivery of feedback, coaching,
one on ones; mentoring and career path development [Eamon Connaughton].
