Beverly Jackson, Harley's long-time coach remembers, “Harley
was a fearless competitor and hung in there with the best of
competitors. He was known as one of the favorites among his peers
with his magnetic, witty personality.” She remembers when he first
started as one of the younger players, but, as time when by, grew into
one of the older players who was so patient teaching younger players
who joined the team. He skillfully shared his experience and
knowledge of the game with others and motivated them to play hard.
