THE EXCEPTIONAL HARLEY FETTERMAN

brailled cards. Everyone enjoyed playing games like Trivia and
             Scrabble.

Harley and his parents all enjoyed music. Beth, generally preferred
classic rock but appreciated many other genres. Kevin enjoyed
various song styles: rock, country, Cajun, blues, etc. He downloads all
his preferences on his iPod to enjoy as he wishes. His parent's
enjoyment of every form of music encouraged Harley to do so, also.

The threesome put a high value on humor. Harley's grandfathers
were both known for incredible senses of humor. Beth's humor
encompassed a geeky, math category. (Such as: A neutron walks into a
bar, asks for a drink, then says “How much?” Bartender says, “For
you, no charge!”) Kevin liked embarrassing humor such as fart or
bathroom jokes which Harley adored. A running joke was always that
Beth could not function without a Dr. Pepper in the morning, so
Kevin and Harley acted afraid of her until she drank one.
The family's routine fast food stop was Whataburger where they
ate breakfast almost every day. They were favorite local patrons. The
friendly staff even supported Harley's National Braille Challenge in
2015 with a special “off the menu” Whataburger celebration cake. It
brought good luck because Harley won second place!
