At other times, Harley and Kevin enjoyed their own buddy
getaways. Both, it seems, had particular affinity for Harley Davidson
Motorcycles.

(Now, some had even wondered if Harley was actually named after
a motorcycle—a hobby that they both shared. But truth be known,
Harley was not named after the Harley Davidson. His name was
chosen by traditional methods. Beth and Kevin decided to name him
after his grandmother's maiden names: Harris and Franklin. But, Beth
didn't really like “Harris” and couldn't imagine her son as a “Harry”
or “Harrison.” At one point, Kevin suggested “Franklin Harris.” But
Beth couldn't see her son as “Frank,” either. So, with good intentions,
their son's given name became, Harley Franklin Fetterman. Now,
forever, Harley would be the well-remembered name for such an
extraordinary kid.)
