Harley and Kevin shared a healthy interest in riding motorcycles,
and also collecting an immense stash of Harley Davidson
memorabilia. This twosome was often seen riding around enjoying the
countryside in the hill country between Austin and San Antonio. One
family story retells a motorcycle standoff at a local red light. Harley
sat behind Kevin. Another biker pulled up alongside also waiting for
the traffic light to change. As expected, both motorcyclists good-
naturally throttled up their motors in anticipation of the green light.
Seconds later, light turns green. Just as Kevin drives on through the
intersection, Harley calls out, “Ours is BETTER!”
Kevin and Harley participated in many motorcycle charity events
such as the 2007 Garrett's KidStrong fundraiser in Austin where
Harley and friends helped encourage everyone to take part in the fund
drive hosted by Tornadoes Motorcycle Club and Leathernecks
Motorcycle Club, both family orientated clubs which combine love of
motorcycles with service for others.

Harley and Kevin were often seen wearing Harley motorcycle t-
shirts such as a 2008 Mark-A-Wish fundraiser t-shirt that Harley
participated in as an ambassador fund raiser. That ride was between
San Antonio and Austin and was sponsored by the local Austin
Cowboy Harley Davidson dealership. That ride benefited Central
Texas wish kids.
