baby's heartbeat was hard to monitor if she laid on her left side, a
determined Beth stated that she preferred to just lay on her right side
continually. (Beth would later attribute Harley's definite preference to
sleep cuddled close to her as she laid on her right side to this labor
room experience.)

Family waited close by to welcome Harley who weighed 7 lbs.
9.75 oz. upon his joyous arrival. Everyone remarked, as they took
photos of the newborn, that he was so incredibly wide awake and alert
so soon after his delivery.

Beth, who hadn't eaten all day, was thrilled when she discovered
that her nephew, Doug, had brought her a Whataburger. She remarked
that it tasted amazing even though slightly cold. Undeniably,
Whataburger fast food would become a permanent on-going craving
of the Fetterman family.
