• Ballet Folklorico- (Ages 7-adult) This class introduces students to the cultural heritage of Spain and other
countries that have adopted this beautiful dance form. Using traditional music, students will learn the basics,
including body posture and footwork as they learn beginner routines. The class will move at the pace of the
students. All students will be required to perform at the Fine Arts Festival in May. Teacher: Vianney Zapata
Recommended Donation of $12/weekly class

• Combination Ballet / Tap / Jazz – (ages 6-9) **May be offered in 2018-2019** This is a FUN class where
students will enjoy learning the basics of ballet, tap, and jazz dance. The class will emphasize solid technique
while students learn correct terminology, style, simple choreography, poise, and performing skills. Students will
work on each discipline for about 20 minutes in this 60 minute class. At the end of the year, the class will
perform at the Quest Fine Arts Festival! Teacher: Tanya Fisher Recommended Donation: $12 per weekly class

***All classes participating in the fine arts festival may have a costume fee and all will have a $5 per child performance
fee in order to cover the cost of renting a space for the Fine Arts Festival. Every effort is made to keep costs as low as
possible.***
