Fine Arts: Music


            •  Acoustic Contemporary Guitar 1- (Students should be at least 8 years old ) This course is designed to develop
               basic music skills applied to the guitar. Students will learn; to play melodies, develop rhythm ability, recognize
               musical terms and symbols, as well as play guitar harmonies. Required Book: The Hal Leonard Guitar Method
               Book 1 Teacher: Isaiah McKenna Recommended Donation of $12 per weekly class


            •  Acoustic Contemporary Guitar 2- (Students should be at least 8 years old ) This is a second year class. This
               course is designed to develop basic music skills applied to the guitar. Students will learn; to play melodies,
               develop rhythm ability, recognize musical terms and symbols, as well as play guitar harmonies. More advanced
               topics such as; music reading, improvisation, and jazz harmony will be included as the students develop
               advanced skill and ability as a guitar player. Required Book: The Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 2 Teacher:
               Isaiah McKenna Recommended Donation of $12 per weekly class

            •  Advanced Contemporary Guitar- This class is for advanced students with at least a year of experience, and
               sometimes more. Students will continue to build upon the skills they’ve learned. If you are unsure about the
               level you should be in, please contact us. Required Book: pending Teacher: Isaiah McKenna Recommended
               Donation is $12 per weekly session


            •  Acoustic Classical Guitar 1- (Students should be at least 8 years old ) Classical guitar explores core techniques
               and concepts of the instrument and takes you through a structured, progressive course of work. A higher level
               class could be offered if there is enough need. Required Book: none Teacher: Michael Lich Recommended
               Donation of $12 per weekly class


            •  Acoustic Classical Guitar 2- This class is open to students with at least one year of guitar experience and a strong
               understanding of the fundamentals. If you are unsure which level is right for you, please contact us. Required
               Book: none Teacher: Michael Lich Recommended Donation of $12 per weekly class

            •  Advanced Classical Guitar- This class is for advanced students with at least a year of experience, and sometimes
               more. Students will continue to build upon the skills they’ve learned. If you are unsure about the level you

               per weekly class session


            •  Music in Motion- (3 years - Kindergarten) Young children will build a solid musical foundation through singing,
               moving, actively listening, and playing instruments. They'll experience many genres of music including classical,
               folk, traditional, and international. Students will improve spatial awareness, gross and fine motor skills, and
               cognitive function - all while enjoying a variety of fun, musical activities. Teacher: Marion Turner Recommended
               Donation of $12 per weekly class



            •  Orff Instrument Ensemble- (1st-5th grade) Elementary kids will sing and begin to read music while playing a
               variety of instruments such as glockenspiels, xylophones, bells, drums, claves, maracas, cymbals, and dulcimers.
               They'll experience classical, folk, and sacred music. This will be a great way to combine learning and praising God
