What a Christian Believes

 Receiving a new life. 1 John 5 v12 'He who has the
Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God
does not have life.' It is a spiritual life and lasts
forever.

 Receiving a new relationship. Galatians 3 v26 'You
are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus..'

 Becoming a new creation. 2.Corinthians 5 v17
'Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new
creation.'

 Receiving a new nature. Colossians 3 v10 ' ...and
(you) put on the new self, which is being renewed
in knowledge in the image of its creator.'
 Receiving a new mind. Romans 12 v2 '..but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind,..'

 Receiving a new destiny. Paul says in Philippians 1
v6 '.. being confident of this, that He who began a
good work in you, will carry it on to completion,
until the Day of Christ Jesus.'

In time a new CHRISTIAN will become more and more aware
of the NEW LIFE in him or her. There is also a growing
awareness of the HOLY SPIRIT who has come to live in the
soul of the believer. Galatians 4 v.6 'Because you are
sons, God sent the Spirit of His son into our hearts, the
Spirit who calls out 'Abba, Father'.' The Spirit of Christ
now lives and stays in us, all of the time, even when we are
less than perfect.

WE CAN ONLY BE BORN AS BABIES ONCE AND WE
CAN ONLY BE 'BORN AGAIN' ONCE.
