consciousness of soul or of Spirit. It is unfortunate that so many are prepared
to be satisfied with their communicating with souls. This is a very useful
service and can lead to communicating with Spirit but not many persist with
developing their awareness that ‘far’. It is similar to someone studying for a
profession. The full course might take many years before completion, but there
are those who only stay long enough to learn the language, and then start to
practice without completing the course, nor having the experience. Would you
trust someone who has this meagre training? Would you put your life in their
hands? Many only spend a weekend or two training to be a medium and think
because some soul came calling that they are now a medium? Spiritual
consciousness is not acquired by attending a course and learning techniques.
Most courses offered in this way are ego training and little more. They can
show you what you are capable of, what is natural to you, but they can never
teach you spirituality. It very difficult to teach someone what they already
know. The proper course will help you realise your innate spiritual ability, will
help your ego become aware of your Spirit, and by educating the ego enable
your Spirit to access and influence the environment your body enjoys. It is
natural then for you to ‘see’ and ‘hear’ Spirit, it is also natural for your body to
become a channel for the Divine energy to flow through. It will be natural for
you to then live your life spiritually and knowingly. Be aware of the pitfalls
that the egos of others prepare for you. Others who recognise your spiritual
progress might find it intimidating and seek to restrain you rather than
accompany you. The egos of others will constantly seek to reduce your
consciousness to their ‘level’ rather than aspire to raise their consciousness to
the ‘level’ of yours.
