and share it with others they will see our problem from a more
objective position and be able to advise us accordingly. They

might even offer help. The help they offer must be given
consideration before we accept it. You have a heavy burden
that you need to lift onto a shelf. Your friends offer their help

each to their own ability to provide. One might be very strong.
One might be able to give good direction. All are willing to

help. Realise the word is to help not to take the task over
completely. It is up to you how that help will be helpful to you.
By all means accept help but never to the extent that you

relinquish all responsibility for the experience.
There will be those who will attach conditions around

the help they provide. If you accept help from these people you
also accept the conditions. These conditions can often be
hidden behind a smile. Take the situation where you need to

borrow money from the bank. The manager always smiles. Is
this smile in friendship or is it a smile of satisfaction when he
realises that he has trapped you into a situation where he is

going to make plenty of money for the bank and at your
               expense?
As a helper we must ensure that we are not

compromising the receiver of our charity by creating within
them a dependency on us. We should try and help them realise

the situation they are in and firstly help them in some
